What is a Buyer?
Retail and wholesale travel companies in overseas markets that are invited by Tourism Australia to attend ATE. Buyers may also be representatives of international Product Representation Companies. For a company to be eligible to attend ATE as a Buyer they must meet the Buyer selection criteria.
Why attend ATE?
ATE offers Buyers the opportunity to:
- Meet and conduct business with some of the best tourism operators in Australia
- Increase knowledge and sales potential for Australia
- Experience Australia through pre and post touring programs offered by the host state New South Wales and other states of Australia.
How do I apply for ATE?
All Buyers who want to attend ATE must receive an invitation from Tourism Australia to attend as a Buyer before they submit an application. The invitation will include a username, allowing the Buyer to make an online application. Visit our Customer Self Service website if you need to retrieve a forgotten password.
If you did not receive an invitation, contact your ATE coordinator to find out if you are eligible to attend as a Buyer.
All applications must be submitted online and completed prior to the applications closing date Tuesday 7 December 2010. Buyers will receive confirmation of acceptance within 14 days of submitting an application.
