Tourism Australia, Qantas and partnered Inbound Tour Operators are inviting a group of Latin American travel sellers to Australia in May 2011. The ‘There's nothing like Australia’ Latin Familiarisation Visit will improve these agents’ knowledge of Australia, enable them to experience the country first-hand, and provide a vital engagement opportunity for Australian operators. The Latin Familiarisation Visit will comprise of five days of familiarisation around Australia coordinated by partnering Inbound Tour Operators, followed by a day of workshop on 4 May in Sydney coordinated by Tourism Australia. Australian operators wishing to attend this industry workshop in Sydney on Wednesday 4 May 2011 are required to submit an online application.

The following 'how to guide' can assist you in completing your online application. To create an application click on the 'New Application' button at the top right of the screen. Application process
- Applications must be completed and submitted online by the application closing date: Wednesday 9 March 2011.
- Completed applications will be assessed against the Selection criteria.
- Applicants will be advised via email whether their application has been successful. Successful applicants will be required to accept their offer of attendance by Monday 21 March 2011.
Please note
- Company public liability information must be included in all applications in order to be considered to attend. If information is incomplete or missing, sellers will be automatically waitlisted until full details are provided.
- If a company has an outstanding debt with Tourism Australia, the company's application will be automatically waitlisted until the debt is cleared.
