Participation fees

As a result of feedback from ITB 2011, a wider range of participation options will be offered for ITB 2012.  It will better allow exhibitors to tailor their stand presence to individual needs and provide greater value for money.  Note:  

  1. Please read the below options carefully to determine your preferred booth location where relevant (open booth / closed booth).
  2. Only registered delegates will have access to the Australia stand facilities. This will be enforced strictly. 
  3. All Australian based registrations will be invoiced in Australian Dollars.
  4. * Plus 10% GST where invoices are raised in AUD

Trade days only (Wednesday 7 - Friday 9 March 2012)  

Open Sole booth

  • Including access for two delegates
  • An open booth is located facing the aisle, allowing for direct interaction and access from outside with Trade visitors.

Closed Sole booth

  • Including access for two delegates
  • A closed booth is located away from aisles with no unwanted interaction and access from Trade visitors.  This layout allows for a 'by appointment only' stand presence of your company.

  • On the consumer days (Saturday and Sunday) the booth may be converted to a counter space to ensure there is direct consumer access for all exhibitors.

Included in all levels of participation for registered delegates:

  • Delegate/s as outlined above for the duration of the event
  • Individual company name listing on the stand
  • Individual company logo identification (graphic panel) on the stand
  • Access to all facilities on the stand including hospitality area
  • Daily snack lunch
  • Inclusion in the Directory of Sellers (which is distributed to trade visitors)
  • Inclusion in the official ITB online and print catalogue
  • Inclusion in PR activities organised by Tourism Australia up to and during ITB 2012
  • Daily transfers to and from to and from the Hotel Adina Hauptbahnhof to the ITB venue (only on actual participation dates)
  • Opportunity to participate in the Aussie Specialist Training Workshop on Tuesday 6 March 2012

Not included:

  • International and domestic air tickets
  • International freight costs to and from Berlin
  • Breakfast and meals not specified in program
  • Transfers (except where specified)
  • Accommodation
  • Departure taxes
  • Items of a personal nature
  • Travel and property insurance
  • Pre-scheduled appointments
  • Other incidental expenses


Cancellation fees
By agreeing to the terms and conditions you are accepting the Tourism Australia cancellation policy. Cancellation fees apply regardless of whether participation invoice has been raised or payment made.

50% cancellation fee charged from Monday 19 December 2011 - Monday 16 January 2012
100% cancellation fee charged from Tuesday 17 January 2012

Should you need to cancel your participation at ITB, please inform Olga Kotsis in writing immediately.


Invoicing procedures
Plus 10% GST to apply to invoices raised in AUD. 

Invoices for Australian based participants will be raised in Australian dollars (AUD) and will be converted at the applicable exchange rate. Invoices for European based participants will be raised in Euros. Participants are reminded that all costs for ITB 2012 and any other overdue accounts with Tourism Australia globally must be paid prior to a representative from that company being able to register at this event.


Insurance and liability issues
All participants are reminded that Tourism Australia does not:  

  • Accept responsibility or liability for any loss suffered by participants or visitors
  • Provide or arrange for any insurance for, or on behalf, of participants or visitors
  • Provide any indemnity for loss or injury suffered by participants or visitors  

Participants are reminded that it is their responsibility to arrange insurance including public and product liability, workers compensation and property insurance.
