Welcome to Trade Events Online

Having Problems Using This Website?

So, you are already to make an application or perform some other task on the Trade Events website but no matter what you do you keep getting errors or your web page doesn't load or your browser crashes. If this is the case, we may be able to help. We do need some information from you, however, to diagnose the issue.

If you are contacting a Trade Events Coordinator about a problem with the Trade Events website, please provide the following information to help us help you:

1) Internet Browser

Go to Internet Explorer (or Firefox or whatever browser you use) and in the top right click Help, and choose About. If you don't see this option, try to find the menu that has the link to Help and look for About. You should see 'version' information like 6.0.2900 or 2.0X or something like that. Please document this information including anything about an SP (i.e. Service Pack).

2) Operating System

What Operating System are you running (Windows XP? Windows 2000? Windows Vista? Macintosh OS X? Ubuntu)?

3) Is there an 'error' on the bottom left of the window screen?

Is the system showing you an error like "User not defined" or "Java.null.pointer" etc. Have a look in the bottom left corner of the screen - is there a yellow icon like the image below?

If yes, click on it and send us the error text that is displayed.

4) Try clearing your 'Cache'

Often, many problems are fixed in the browser by clearing your 'Cache'. This is not harmful to your computer and is easy to do. Here are instructions from Microsoft on completing this:
